Seif Ali Farag is a 19-year-old Egyptian filmmaker and directing student at Badr University  Cairo. Despite his young age, Seif has already carved out a unique presence in Egypt’s creative  scene, working professionally on commercials, and branded content as a videographer, assistant  director, and behind-the-scenes storyteller, and he is the creator of the first Gen-Z podcast “Mn Gheer Esm”. His debut short film “8  Candles” explores themes of grief, and legacy, and stands as a testament to his belief that  storytelling can fill even the quietest absences with meaning.
