Biography:
Soviet hockey player, striker of the CSKA team (1967-1981) and the USSR national team (1969-1980), Honored Master of Sports of the USSR (1969). Two-time Olympic champion (1972, 1976) and eight-time world champion. The best hockey player of the USSR (1972, 1973). One of the leading hockey players of the USSR of the 1970s, who received recognition both in his country and abroad. Member of the IIHF Hall of Fame (since 1998). Member of the Toronto Hockey Hall of Fame (since 2005).
