Norman John Baker is a Liberal Democrat politician in the United Kingdom who was the Member of Parliament for Lewes in East Sussex from the 1997 general election to his defeat in 2015. On 7 October 2013, Baker was appointed Minister of State at the Home Office in the coalition government of 2010-15.
